When you first watch the video, you might be led to think that these nimble footed lion dancers are busting moves to LMFAO in Singapore, but upon further inspection, it turns out that this was the creative work of the people at Tiger Beer and leeteckhwa is an employee of Asia Pacific Breweries. These video is a successful example of bringing an age old tradition into the 21st century and adapting it for the internet generation.
2) Chinese New Year Make Up Tutorial
According to rappers and hip hop musicians, men are more inclined to spend money (a.k.a. make it rain) on ladies that they find to be aesthetically pleasing (a.k.a. you look so fly). There are many uncles that you would be bumping into during your festive visits; it's the most opportune time to put into good use all that time spent watching make up tutorials on Youtube and dial up your female allure to ensure maximum returns on looking good.
Enterprising Youtuber Pursebuzz teaches female audiences how to apply various coats of cosmetics in a Chinese New Year themed video, and if the video views (13,600) and likes (255) are any indication, this tutorial would be perfect for your CNY money collecting look.
3) Annoying Mandarin Orange
Annoying Mandarin Orange is the cantonese speaking, mandarin song singing counterpart of the original citrus prankster, Annoying Orange. This funny pop culture parody was produced by the Malaysian offices of renowned advertising company, DDB; the cast of mandarin orange, lime and onion make a great blend for fruity irreverant comedy- complete with quips, songs and even product placement.
This video is a hit with Youtubers, with its daily views increasing by the thousands (total views over 160,000 as of 22nd of January).

Chinese Youtuber yanghaiying celebrates Chinese New Year with an easy to follow craft video that teaches viewers how to make a 4 sided 春, (meaning Spring in mandarin). In under 5 minutes, she draws, folds and snips a multi dimensional chinese character out of a piece of flat paper.
Another video that would scratch your paper crafting itch would be her tutorial on making a lotus flower. The floral ornament is big, red and eye catching; it also makes for an more satisfying Chinese New Year endeavour as opposed to running down to a gift store to purchase derivative decorations.
